Abstract: 

In this study and based on mental and affective axis the interrogative propositions have been investigated. According to results of this research, these propositions signify her quest and are crystalized in the form of love, the quest of self or searching identity, and the concern for humanity. Through this process of searching identification and in the poetic universe of FOROUGH FARROKHZAD, she asks always numerous question on the nature of love, life and herself. From affective view point, the analysis of interrogative propositions shows that the priority of love in her both early works gradually get pale and her questions have been quantitatively and qualitatively transformed. It is worthy to note that the addressee of these propositions is an example of her mental and affective METAMORPHOSIS and this study tries to show that her addressee from personal “I” or default and presupposed addressee changes into an interpretable and generalizable pronoun to all readers and addressees. With no doubt, adopting this approach shows the great extent of FOROUGH FARROKHZAD mental and affective universe.

Abstract: 

Background: One of the oldest dreams of mankind is to achieve an ideal and desirable life, which is reflected in the scope of contemporary Persian poetry and literature. Because it is considered a human desire and literature also reflects a part of the human kind's desires. Among the contemporary poets, FOROUGH FARROKHZAD has spoken about an ideal world that has various moral components. The aim of the current research, which was compiled based on library sources and descriptive-analytical method, is to investigate these components. Conclusion: FOROUGH's intended world becomes objective and attainable when morality appears in it and people behave according to moral and clerical standards. The most important moral characteristics of this utopia are: condemnation of this world and praise of the ideal world; realization of security and social justice; Attention to transcendental love and condemnation of earthly lovers; condemnation of patriarchal anti-moral culture; Condemnation of hypocrisy and lack of sincerity; The internal union of people with each other.

Abstract: 

Nostalgia is referred to sorrow along with regret whenever one is thinking about an era or an event in the past; in other words, nostalgia is regret and ennui regarding good old days and ardor to go back to those times. This term has been borrowed form psychology and has rooted in human subconscious. Nostalgia is one of the most noticeable subjects in contemporary Persian poems. FOROUGH FARROKHZAD is one of the poets whose poems have reflected past regrets and reminiscence. This study aims to investigate the motives of regret and sorrow for the past in her poems through a descriptive-analytical approach. The results show that nostalgic contents such as loneliness sorrow, childhood, beloved, death, and utopia have significant presence in FOROUGH’ s poems.

Abstract: 

Since the system of signs is constantly changing and transforming due to the change in social structures, paying attention to the METAMORPHOSIS of signs in the poetry of a particular poet can be a way to know the changing meanings of signs. Through the language of FOROUGH FARROKHZAD's collection of poems, this research has shown the context of explaining and understanding his mental feelings, which are expressions of external experiences in the language of his poetry. The current research has been selected with a descriptive-analytical method and by selecting poems by FOROUGH FARROKHZAD in Captured, Wall, Rebellion, Another Birth poetry books, and Let's Believe in the beginning of the cold season. The researchers are looking for the extent to which the poems of FOROUGH FARROKHZAD adhere to the external nature of the signifiers in the dictionary, and where these signs have become impossible among other signs. The results of the research show that the implied meanings have been investigated in eight categories night, death, sun, love, perfectionism, water and its symbols, tree, window, and the symbol of the night have the highest frequency of change and transformation. In the books of Captured, Wall, and Rebellion, there is still no trace of this way of speaking and the special arrangement of signifiers and signifiers, and what is there is a simile and a little metaphor, but in the poems of other collections of births, let's believe in the beginning Cold season, FOROUGH expresses many elements and manifestations of nature in line with the expression of his thoughts, symbolically and impossibly in diverse and different meanings.

Abstract: 

Myths are about the human struggle to make sense of the Nature and cosmos. They are images of cosmic forces and representatives of sanctity that are manifested in cosmic creation, characters of athletics, rituals, and totemism.FOROUGH FARROKHZAD (1935- 1967), Persian contemporary poet, has used mythic elements in her poems. The present article tries to show these elements in her poems.

Abstract: 

FOROUGH FARROKHZAD has used in her new poems the artistic manifestaions of Eros in a unique way. Eroticism and its related high frequent images are not merely used to convey lyrical images, but to represent the experience of a deep understanding of the phenomena of the world around the poet. The manifestations of this frequency are suggested in four general categories: gender personification (Adding the quality of masculinity and femininity to inanimate objects and nature), sexual lyricism (Experience of maturity and personal love of the poet with passion and enthusiasm, in the form of images), human body (Female organ symbolizes female role or influence), and Freudianism. (Interpretation of the poet's relationship with himself, others and the universe based on the female instinct). The study concluded that the manifestations of Eros, considering the lyrical emotions, image abilities, femininity of the text and sexual humanity of the inanimate nature, have given a pulsating and fruitful meaning to the life of the poet. It is as if FARROKHZAD’ s femininity has made her world meaningful. All bitter and sweet experiences of the poet can be interpreted and understood through her femininity. The poet has also brought his despairing and mortal thoughts behind his erotic images to his ordinary and daily life to show the similarity and inseparability of these two opposites in man. The study aimed at examining and analyzing these unique forms with prominent and influential examples from the two collections of poems Another Birth (دیگر تولدی( and Let’ s Believe in the Beginning of the Cold Season ( سر فص آغاز به بیاچریم ایمان.

Abstract: 

Since the earlier times, the relation between culture and literature, was not only rivalry but also interactive and fundamental. It was this culture that sometimes caused the literature to go under transformation and sometimes literature has affected the changing of culture. A good poem which has prolific structure and content, alters the innate culture of human being and anytime this internal development gets ground, it also changes easily the external behavior. It has been tried here to investigate the thoughts, speculations, and view points of FOROUGH FARROKHZAD in poetry.

Abstract: 

In our era, the age of science and knowledge, where women are also making a significant contribution, educated women try to promote the place of women to its original and natural position, alongside the man. In the distant past, ignorance and savagery had become her into a pet, which couldn't be as effective as men in society. Therefore, woman in the limits of home had accepted routine life. The women's originality movement that was product of Humanism and the Renaissance, very soon enveloped all over the Europe and later spread among the Orient lands. In Islamic lands, radical Feminism is not seen. Because in ISLAM women enjoyed civil rights, except in the case of inheritance and witness, unlike the Middle age Church. So the orient women are not men's enemy. They believe that women are complementary to men and trying to resolve this misunderstanding with men. In dealing with, women right and her freedom in front of men, FOROUGH FARROKHZAD, Iranian poet and Ghada Al-Samman, Arabic poet are the same. In this discourse, although the man once was unwanted enemy, now is her lover too. So in their discourse, the man has two faces, marauder in the past and promising besides complementary of today's life.

Abstract: 

The main issue of this paper is the comparison of the image in the poems of Nima and FOROUGH FARROKHZAD from the perspective of the romantic image. The romantic image of the epistemological and aesthetic nature is fundamentally different from the classical, symbolic, and surrealistic. The author has tried to explain the nature of the romantic image in three parts: in the first part, explains the special features of romantic imagery with the discussion of four characteristics: transformation in nature, shadow of the image, dynamics, and individuality in the image. In the second section, the relationship between the images and the position of the image in the context of the poem is examined by two characteristics of continuity and maturity. The paper is based on a descriptive-analytical method based on a library method.
